Turd Blossom shrinks into the sunset

The President bade farewell to his Chief of Staff today, as Karl Rove announced that his days in the Bush White House will come to an end at the end of August.

Affectionately known as “Turd Blossom”, Rove has been the architect of the Bush Presidency and goes back to the early days when Bush first weaved his magic on those fine people of Texas.

His final year or so in the office, beside the office of the President has been a controversial one, with scandal seeming to nip at his heels just one step behind.

Best line of the day goes to Jon Stewart who suggested this gives Rove more time to dig up dirt on his own family…

Or perhaps he can work on that blossoming rap career that he kicked off earlier this year!
