Power was disrupted during the noon hour for many residents of the East side on Wednesday, as BC Hydro dealt with what was described as a bird contacting their wires.
The power went down at approximately 12:15 and was restored about an hour later, affecting 2239 customers in the east end of the city.
BC Hydro posted details on their website and had a notice available on their telephone line.
