A settlement for Queen of the North claims, water concerns in Port Clements and the last shot at saving the Eurocan mill seems to have passed by, some of the items of interest in the news review for Wednesday.

Queen of the North survivors settle class-action suit-- Survivors of the ill fated journey of the Queen of the North have settled their claims in court, but in the end, over 40 passengers will have only 140,000 dollars to split in settlement (see article here)

Hopes fading in effort to save Eurocan mill-- The avenues to reopening the closed Eurocan mill of Kitimat seem to be closing off with a deadline having passed on what seemed like the last hope of saving the operation in the form of an employee co-op (see article here)
