GROUNDFISH PROCESSING KEEPS JS McMILLAN FISHERIES ON THE GO -- Details of a potential increase of job opportunities at the local McMillan fish plant, as the company closes its North Vancouver plant and increases production in Prince Rupert.

Jane Sterk, the leader of the Green Party took a wander through Prince Rupert on Tuesday, the Daily tagged along and outlined some of her stops through the day.

A long time fixture on the Prince Rupert scene will soon be calling Nicaragua home, Price Rupert's fire engine 804 has rolled down the highway with a destination of central America, Monica Lamb Yorski outlines how Prince Rupert's now retired engine is getting a second life and a useful one at that.

The sports section reviews the efforts of the Prince Rupert Rapids swim club and previews the upcoming basketball challenge between the RCMP and the Edge Youth Employment Centre, set for July 23 outside the Masonic Hall.

RCMP seeking public's assistance in locating missing person-- The local detachment is asking for the help of the public in locating a local resident, Robby Collins a 30 year old Rupertite who was last seen on June 12th and reported missing at that time. (see article here)
