Rampage start regular season with a loss in Kitimat

After last weekends success at home in the Challenge Cup, Prince Rupert's Rampage suffered a bit of a let down in their first road game of the CIHL season on Saturday, coming out on the short end of the scoresheet in the Aluminum City.

The Rampage jumped out to an early 1-0 lead, but from the start of the second period on Kitimat took charge of the debut game, with a flurry of goals in the middle period, holding a 4-1 lead by the end of forty minutes.

In the third, the Rampage got one goal back, but the Ice Demons matched that goal with one of their own to take the game 5-1.

Goal scorers for the Rampager were Rob Millar and Dylan Lawrence.

The CIHL website's chat section offers up some reviews of the action from Saturday, which you can check out here.

The Rampage next see action on Saturday, October 16th, when they host their regular season home opener at 8 pm.

Terrace provides the competition on that night. On Saturday, the River Kings won their season opener 9-1 over Hazleton.

You can check out all of the scores from the weekend in the CIHL from the league's Poinstreak website portal, which has been updating scores through the weekend.
