Time to dig out a few essentials for the next few days, umbrella, rain gear, boots and such, at least if the Enviornment Canada forecast provides a preview of the elements to come...

80 TO 120 MM OF RAIN EXPECTED OVER NORTH COAST - COASTAL SECTIONS BY LATE MONDAY AFTERNOON. 80 TO 100 MM OF RAIN EXPECTED FOR NORTH COAST - INLAND SECTIONS NEAR STEWART BY LATE MONDAY EVENING. THIS IS A WARNING THAT SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL IS EXPECTED OR OCCURRING IN THESE REGIONS. MONITOR WEATHER CONDITIONS..LISTEN FOR UPDATED STATEMENTS.

AN INTENSE PACIFIC FRONTAL SYSTEM APPROACHING FROM THE WEST WILL MOVE OVER THE NORTH COAST THIS EVENING AND THEN STALL. HEAVY RAIN IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ALONG THE COAST AND OVER NORTHERN INLAND AREAS EARLY THIS EVENING AND CONTINUE THROUGH MONDAY. 24 HOUR RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 80 TO 120 MM ARE FORECAST FOR THE ABOVE AREAS THROUGH MONDAY EVENING. THE RAIN SHOULD BEGIN TO EASE ALONG THE COAST LATE MONDAY AS THE FRONT SHIFTS SLIGHTLY NORTHWARD.
