TORONTO -- If you still haven't finished your Christmas shopping, brace yourself. Friday is expected to be the busiest shopping day of the year.
Visa says more than seven million Canadians are expected to descend on stores in hopes of getting their shopping done.
Visa's eighth annual gift-giving survey suggests Canadians will spend an estimated $2 billion dollars on Friday.
Visa Canada official Tania Freedman says the busiest shopping day is typically December 23rd.
But since Christmas Day falls on a Monday this year, they anticipate Canadians will try to finish their shopping on Friday.
