From holes in one, to one liners

Ah the bigger the star, the bigger the butt of the joke.

The media frenzy over the recent developments in the life of Tiger Woods has proven to be gold for television writers and homespun comedians alike.

From television talk shows to gambling sites and in the major newspapers, it seems that everyone has a Tiger joke to share.

We suspect that your Internet connection is slowing down today as these zingers, make it from mailbox to mailbox around the world.

What’s the difference between a car and a golf ball?
Tiger can drive a ball 400 yards.

What were Tiger Woods and his wife doing out at 2.30 in the morning?
They went clubbing

Tiger said the fault of the accident was his Escalade.
It’s typical of a golfer—always blame the caddy.

And on and on they go, if Tiger knew that his rumoured escapades and trip in an Escalade, were going to garner this much attention he may have wished to negotiate residuals for his participation in the growth of the joke industry. We're pretty sure he, his lawyers or perhaps his wife would find a use for that extra cash.

He'll most likely survive the fall out from his troubles, his skill on the course probably guarantees more wins in the future, the sponsors while perhaps temporarily aghast at the image setback will most likely still keep him well compensated for his efforts. But in the short term, his fate seems destined to be the punctuation point to an awful lot of humour.

For one stop, one liners we offer up the following sites, we're sure as the day goes on the numbers will multiply .

Offshore Insiders --Tiger Woods Jokes: Best Ones Compiled
Wanda Sykes show-- Tiger Woods Jokes
Orlando Sentinel-- Tiger Woods jokes headquarters

Melbourne Herald Sun-- Jokes playing on Tiger Wood's car crash flooding the Internet
National Post-- Perilous times to be a celebrity

And of course there is this exclusive video, a heartwarming piece that examines just what it is that makes Golf such a great game, apparently explaining why golfers like Tiger pick up the clubs to play the game.

Thank you, thank you very much, we're here all week!
