Take him down to the Paradise City... where the cash is green and the insurance is nifty!

Perhaps the most unusual appearance on a stage in a long time comes from this production from the Geico Insurance people (they of the green lizard commercials), an internal music video featuring a number of their employees outlining in song that celebrates that much vaunted Geico customer service.

As the song works its way through the various departments we see in the spotlight an apparent Axl Rose figure, which as things turn out is none other than gazillionaire Warren Buffet, who in addition to being a key investor in Geico has a penchant for appearances in its yearly motivational video.

The New York Times has a look at the behind the scenes aspect of Mr. Buffet's other career activities.

We can't wait for his interpretation of Sweet Child of Mine, Welcome to the Jungle and November Rain, all of which we're sure Geico could turn into some form of Insurance related opportunity.

Though we have to wonder if perhaps he shouldn't have donned a Jim Morrison persona, after all Morrison was known as the Lizard King at one time, which would have been a fairly interesting interpretation of the Gecio lizard!
