From Flensberg to Prince Rupert


The newest addition to the BC Ferries fleet set sail on Friday from her birthplace in Germany, with an eventual destination of Prince Rupert.

The Northern Expedition, which is destined to arrive in BC waters in 35 days or so, will take up her duties on the Northern run from Prince Rupert to Port Hardy in May, providing the latest in ferry comforts and transportation for some 600 passengers and 130 vehicles.

The vessel which BC ferries says completed on time and one budget has 55 staterooms, a cafe, restaurant and two lounges. A full review of the new vessel can be found on the BC Ferries website.
