Here's hoping your Christmas Parcels have better success

The U. S. Postal Service has followed through on its credo to deliver the mail, sending glad tidings to Ethel Martin, all be it almost one hundred years too late!

Mrs. Martin, or Aunt Ethel as she was known at the time, went to her great reward many years ago, but a card destined for her in 1914 has been floating around in some post office in America since it was dropped in the collection box.

The 93-year-old card was apparently found somewhere in Illinois, where someone popped it into a new envelope with topped up postage, after all, the mail wouldn't get very far these days on a one cent stamp!
