On the Music Club tonight, we hit the honky tonks and a look at the latest offering from Brad Paisley.
Paisley's videos are a notch above the usual fluff and such that we seem to get saddled with lately from the music genre. He has a high amount of humour and well developed story lines to go with his infectious music soundtracks.
Tonight's features another collection of well known guest stars who add their talents to his storytelling, a most enjoyable narration to his latest hit.
Without ruining the video for you, we'll simply say that if you at all spend a lot of time on the computer you may find that this hits a little too close to home.
The music video seems to have forged a great partnership with country music, the themes that have made the music popular make for great theatre and Paisley seems to have discovered the secret ingredients to a good music video.
His music stands on its own as well, a rising star in the industry he has managed to find success without taking himself or his art form too seriously, a trait that some of the pop princesses, rap stars and aging rockers might wish to investigate.
Watch for the guest appearances and see if you can pick them out of the scenes from the video.
For those that don't normally check out the likes of CMT, this makes for a good introduction to some of the material that is waiting for you when you need a change of pace from the classic rock, pop, hip hop, rap and metal options of the day.
