Welcome to the USA, please leave your cameras at the border.

Here's a heads up for anyone planning on a visit to the US this summer, forget about the idea of taking lots and lots of pictures. Life in the ever vigilant security shadow of the US, is getting a little bit more complicated by the day.

The Washington Post has an interesting little story about how taking a picture of the most plain of buildings, could very well put your name on a government watch list.

The problem is that you'll probably never know if the building used as a backdrop for Johnny and Mary's trip to America, is actually a government building under the watch list. The US governmemt apparently isn't in any hurry to release a list of such buildings, but they will be quick to compile a list of anyone who might stumble across one of the mystery buildings.

It's the kind of situation that is more akin to a Simpson's or Saturday Night Live skit than reality, but there you have it.

Fill up your digital camera at your peril!
