You take a left, then a right, then go around the block and start all over again!

A third avenue businessman is a little less than impressed with city hall, after tourist maps and brochures neglected to not only not highlight his business, but seem to have purged the entire block from our collective memories.

Vince Amante, who owns a coffee shop at the west end of Third Avenue made what has been described as an angry presentation to city council last night, upset over the lack of attention to detail of his block of Third avenue west.

He urged council to pull and reprint the maps and brochures with proper information.

No word on whether Tourism Prince Rupert have withdrawn the maps from the hands of local visitors.

TV 7 features the story on their website.

A Prince Rupert businessman wants new maps of the city made up- that put his end of Third Avenue back where it belongs.

According to Vince Amante, his coffeshop on third Avenue isn't on the map put out by Tourism Prince Rupert.

And for that matter- neither is his entire downtown block.

In an angry presentation at city hall last night, Amante urged council to have the brochures and maps pulled and reprinted.

Amante says regardless of whether his neighbouring restaurants and shops paid to advertise, his block should be put back on the map.
