Well the idea that France had to involve Iran in the peace process in the Middle East certainly took a bit of a hit today. France which up until today was insisting that any solution to peace in those ancient battle grounds, had to involve the government of Iran, must be thinking ooops, wrong horse there, as the hardline leader of that country spoke out once again with his unusual visions of the Middle East.
The Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad outlined his simple plan to solve all that ails that troubled part of the world. And well bridge building simply isn’t in the cards judging by his words.
Ahmadinejad: Destruction of Israel is solution
Eliminating Zionist regime cure for conflict: Ahmadinejad
Ahmadinejad: Destroy Israel, End Crisis
Ahmadinejad calls for isolation of Israel, its supporters
After reading the reports and dispatches of the Presidents proclamations, France (a country that for some reason seems to think they’re a world player) in rather understated terms offered up this bit of constructive criticism on the thoughts of Prez Mah.
The key line of which is; “France's foreign minister condemned Ahmadinehjad's comments Thursday, saying Iran is ruining its chances to play a positive and stabilizing role in the Middle East.”
Duh, really?
