Pictures of Podunk: Now loading cattle at pen number one!

Oh for the golden days of jet travel!

Visitors to Podunk these days find themselves taking part in some kind of warped version of Planes, Trains and Automobiles. Once you navigate the wonderfully strange methods of bus, boat and road transportation to the airport its time to board your plane.

This is the De Havilland Dash 8 Series 300, the mode of transport provided from the folks at Air Canada Jazz. Once upon a time there were spacious?? jets plying the routes of Terrace, Prince Rupert and Sandspit but those days are long gone. Now it's herd the cattle onto the tarmac and into the cattle truck er, cabin.

Perhaps one day progress may once again come to Podunk, if nothing else perhaps Jazz could put one of these on the Rupert run just for a bit of modern day travel. The cattle in the back would gladly moo their thanks.
