Northern Adventure delayed in transit north

BC Ferries is listing a service delay for the Northern Adventure on its June 17th run from Port Hardy to Prince Rupert.

The anticipated arrival time at Prince Rupert now is 3 am on Monday morning, a delay of some 4 and a half hours, from the normal arrival time of 10:30 pm.

The Northern Adventure has been plagued by a few operating issues upon its arrival on the North Coast and recently underwent a sudden refit to correct many of the problems that had popped up.

With the latest delay called an operational issue, it would seem that perhaps all the bugs have still to be worked out on the newest addition to the BC Ferries fleet.

Here’s the official word from the BC Ferries website.
