We suspect that it's not quite the Royal Tour that Buckingham Palace would approve of.
The weekend antics of Prince Harry at the Calgary bar Cowboys, have brought the drinking establishment more than a bit of attention.
Harry who has been posted to Alberta to train at a military base there, nipped into Calgary on the weekend to enjoy the uh, friendliness of the city’s night life and judging by at least one photo a bottle of Kokanee (you can't buy this kind of publicity Creston).
The most frequent destination apparently was the Calgary club known for its cowgirls, beer and shooters, which according to the tabloids the Prince enjoyed in equal portions.
Unfortunately for the Prince, unlike other soldiers who can head for the clubs and ogle the local gals without interruption, a visit from Harry quickly makes it to the headlines and rarely in a positive way.
His invasion of Cowboys has provided one of the members of the staff with a "princely sum" for her interpretations of the Prince's intentions while doing his recon work in Cowtown.
For Cowboys the Prince’s visit has provided it with a number of interesting interpretations as to the class of the establishment as well as the staff and patrons that might congregate there.
Sadly for Cowboys, the push may be short lived, the Calgary legend is scheduled to be demolished in 2008, perhaps a year later than the Prince's reputation...
As they say, any advertising is good advertising, as long as they spell your name right, some of the world's impressions.
The tacky drinking den
Cowboys is famous for large-breasted girls
Frolicking at a sleazy club
Slobbering all over girls in a sleazy club
One of the city's most raucous nightclubs
