Road woes return to the Northwest

Two separate incidents are causing troubles for travellers along Highway 16.

The first and more important of the two is the closure of the highway once again east of Terrace at Legate Creek, where the land has begun to move again, a mudslide in the same location as the previous troubles has necessitated closing the highway and sending travellers back to the Cranberry connector alternative.

To the west of Terrace, washouts 25 and 28 kilometres west of that city have reduced travel to one lane, alternating traffic with expected delays of 2o minutes or so.
