Details of the city's second community meeting, Friends of the Wild Salmon are happy with the UBCM resolutions and vandals in Terrace strike the city's Overwaitea store compressors, some of the news items of note for Thursday.

Emergency Official pleased with response to Air Scare in Smithers-- Fire/Rescue officials in Smithers are very happy with the response to an incident at Smithers airport earlier this week which saw an Air North 737 make an emergency landing at the city's airport (see article here)

Terrace Standard
Rooftop vandals ruin food-- Terrace RCMP are investigating an overnight incident on October 2nd which a vandal or vandals climb on top of the Save On Foods store in Terrace and turn off the air compressors to the store, resulting in the loss of a large volume of food and damages of over 5,000 dollars (see article here)
