It's a sure sign that perhaps the end is nigh for the current administration, Donald Trump appears with Wolf Blitzer on CNN and trashes the Presidency of George W. Bush.
And God Help us, this is something we thought we might never say about The Donald; some of his points seem quite valid. While I can't say that I share his thoughts about redeeming features of the Saddam Hussein era, he does make some key observations on the state of the President’s reign at the moment.
Trump was rather verbose on many issues of the Bush Presidency in the wide ranging conversation, saying many of the things that others have said over the years about the current administration and its handling of world and domestic issues.
From Condi Rice (who he was particularly scathing about), through Dick Cheney and right up to the occupant of the Oval Office itself, The Donald is not impressed. One suspects that if he were in charge, they’d be handing out pink slips by the dozen.
Calling the administration nothing but liars and by calling into question the President's ethics and religious beliefs; we can safely assume that The Donald won't be on the invite list for 1600 Pennsylvania for at least the next two years (maybe less depending on the Senate and Congress).
Might be time to arrange for the moving vans, once you've lost the hearts and minds of the rich folks, well there's not much left to look forward to in the sunset years of the presidency.
After this, Rosie O'Donnell may have to rethink her entire opinion of Mr. Trump!
