Perhaps Paul would prefer NASCAR!

The rumours have been making the rounds the last few years that Paul Tracy might like to move off of the Champ car circuit and head over to NASCAR.

After the last two weeks, his fellow drivers in Champ may want to buy him a bus ticket to the Deep South.

For the second week in a row, Tracy has become involved in a post race shoving match with a fellow Champ driver.

Last week it was Alex Tagliani that went toe to toe with the thrill from West Hill, this weekend it was Sebastian Bourdais who popped a punch at Paul.

Tracy bumped Bourdais off the track in the final lap of the Grand Prix of Denver on Sunday, dashing Bourdais hope for a win, securing victory for Tracy’s team mate A. J. Allmendinger and setting up another post race scrum for the television cameras.

Already on probation for last weeks dust up, it will be interesting to see what becomes of Tracy after the latest confrontation.

One thing seems certain, should Tracy decide to move on to NASCAR, he’ll have this bump and grind thing down pretty well.

Somewhere in the background I hear the strains of a guitar and the theme from Dukes of Hazard.

Hes just a good ole boy…………….
