He wears the bling, but the boy can’t sing

The fifteen minutes for Kevin Federline (aka K-Fed or more likely, Mr. Britney Spears) is about to run out. K-Fed made his TV debut on the weekend on something called the Teen Choice Awards on Fox.

If it were my choice, Mr. Federline would refrain from singing, but as I am not a teen I digress.

Introduced by his gum chomping, over flowing maternity dress wearing gal Brit, Mr. Federline took to the stage to provide his rap stylings to an anxious public apparently just waiting to hear “Lose Control” and these soul searching lyrics… “Don’t hate because I’m a superstar! And I’m married to a superstar! Nothin’ come between us no matter who you are!”

Hey there, Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen et al, move over! There’s a new musical poet about to launch.

At any rate the reviews are in and Mr. Federlilne apparently sucks. His performance greeted by derision from the other ganstas, hip-hoppers and such of contemporary muzak these days. He found a large amount of ridicule among the blogosphere. And he no doubt cemented his status as freeloader most likely to make news for 2006.

Owing to the celebrity of his life of late, he will probably go on undaunted. For if one thing is certain, his talent may only have fourteen minutes left on the clock, but the parody and ridicule timepieces will tick on forever!

If he's up to the critiques, here are a few for he and Brits to chew over...
