It's Showtime: Movies-Hollywoodland

I found an interesting website for a soon to be released movie (September 8th) called Hollywoodland, it's a film noir effort that is certainly getting a fair amount of buzz.

It's the story of murder and Hollywood intrigue, based on the real life murder of George Reeves, the original Superman, the man of Steel. At the time it was on of the most celebrated of murder cases in Hollywood and to this day remains unsolved.

With a top flight cast including Adrien Brody, Diane Lane, Bob Hoskins and Ben Affleck to name a few it has the feel of a major Hollywood late summer epic.

It made its debut at the Venice Film Festival this week and when the critics weren't busy asking Ben Affleck if this were his comeback movie, they took some time to look at the movie itself.

The website is interesting to wander through, click on the scandal, suspects and such and wait for the info to appear on the right hand side of the screen. The music fits the mood of the movie and adds some flavour to the site as well.

We'll update this piece when the reviews come in.
