Blogging on borrowed time?

Slate magazine runs an interesting item on our little obsession known as blogging. And the future sayeth Slate is one of a bubble, much like the tech blowout of a few years ago, the experts are predicting a similar fate for the world of blogging.

Now to be fair they are suggesting that it's the business blogs that may be going bust, so if you haven't made your million with your blog yet, you may have missed your window of opportunity. For those who just use their blogs for the everyday minutiae of their lives, perhaps the bandwidth will be less clogged with the impending Armageddon in the blog world.

Since we make no money off of our humble offering here at Podunk, one guesses we'll just keep on doing, whatever it is we're doing. Though we'd have nothing against cashing in on the boom, before it becomes a bust!
