An early taste of winter hit the central interior today as Prince George received its first significant amount of snow of the season. Four centimetres were received on Friday with four more on the way for Saturday, not large by any means but enough to cause a bit of chaos on the roads of Prince George.
Judging by the comments on this story from the web pages at Opinion 250, they weren't particularly prepared for the first snow and there seem to be some unresolved civic issues from last snow season to deal with.
This is the time of the year where Podunkians can get a little smug at the snow belt troubles, while we will eventually receive our own blasts of winter, for now it's the liquid deluge that we shall have to deal with.
