There was a four cent gap between the different stations in Prince Rupert at noon hour of Friday.
Petro Can had upped the price of a litre of gas to 1.08 by 8:30 am today, a quick check of the remainder of the city's stations shows that they are asking the most for a litre of gas, heading into the Remembrance Day long weekend.
Elsewhere in town, Chevron is charging 1.07 a litre, Husky and Race Track gas are pegged at 1.06 and the 7-11 Esso was still holding the price at 1.04 by the noon hour.
A situation that could change by the end of the day, as the large tanker that fills up the gas reservoirs at the stations around town was seen making its shark like circles in town earlier this morning.
.
Update: Esso decided to jump to the top of the pricing list by 3pm, having posted a price of 1.08 on their board at 7-11.
