Think of it as your Podunkian chalkboard!

We test out a new method of communication on the blog today, joining forces with a long time conduit of information (sometimes quite factual, sometimes quite fanciful, but entertaining at all times) in Prince Rupert, the hackingthemainframe discussion forums.

Thanks to the local site's director the offer was made to host a link to this blog from the discussion boards of the local forum, an opportunity to see if anyone finds something of value to discuss in a more conversational format than the comments on the blog allow for.

If you wander through the boards of htmf you will find snippets of this blog listed with a link to the full story, check out the story from the link and then head back to post your thoughts in a free ranging (and hopefully civil debate).

The boundaries of good taste and litigious offerings will be watched for, you are responsible for your comments, so keep it relatively civil and out of the lairs of libel if you please, otherwise your comments will be exorcised from the ether.

Honest debate is always welcome, but we reserve the right to edit any commentary that steps over the line of fair comment or steps away from good taste.

It's only in the testing phase, so we'll leave it all up to the htmf editorial board to decide if it's a permanent feature or a passing fad, it after all is their board of discussion. We are merely some flotsam and jetsam floating through the wired web there...
