Celine Dion's CD sales in Nova Scotia will sink as fast as the Titanic

Hubby Rene Angelil , is doing his best to make sure that all fingers point away from him and his chanteuse over a recently cancelled show for the Halifax Common.

In a nasty little spat, Dion's husband and manager said that negative media, snarky responses on radio call in shows and even the uncomplimentary posts on the on line message boards all contributed to pulling the plug on the Nova Scotia leg of her current tour.

A rather thin skin when it came to commentaries directed towards the Vegas based diva, was apparently in play as he conducted a conference call with the Halifax media.

"I'm gonna tell you something and I hope everyone is listening. Don't try to find any reasons for cancelling the concert. There's only one reason and you know what it is," he said.

Angelil, who apparently spends a fair amount of his free time on a daily basis, trolling for news coverage of his wife and client was rather distraught over the downer vibes coming out from down east.

So while her heart may go on, one thing is certain the Nova Scotia show certainly won't!
