Batten down your hatches, just in time for the Thanksgiving Day weekend the first storm of the fall is set to arrive.
The Environment Canada website has issued a Wind Warning for the North coast, advising that winds from 70 to 90 kilometres will arrive on the north coast this afternoon.
The winds should ease off by this evening, however it will be wet for the next few days. Rain at times heavy through the afternoon, with accumulations of between 25 to 35 mm by Saturday morning.
The steady precipitation will continue through until Sunday afternoon when it gives way to clouds and showers.
