City Council scoresheet for July 27, 2009

The Wednesday, July 29 edition of the Daily News featured their regular scorecard on city council issues, this one featuring the deliberations and votes from selected items of the July 27 session.

Question One: A temporary tipping free of $150/tonne, requested by fish processors, go into effect for limited emergency disposal of fish offal from July 20 to August 20, 2009 at the Prince Rupert Landfill.

Question Four: The City will award the building of the Pierce 75 Aerial fire Apparatus to Wholesale Fire and Rescue at a cost of $754,768. The truck will be purchased in 2010 to replace aging equipment and be paid for over a period of time as outlined by the City's Five Year Financial Plan.
