Two Nations united in defence of pepperoni

The RCMP in Alberta are giving credit to the US Department of Homeland Security in assisting in the tracking down of the pilfering perpetrators of premium pepperoni from Seven persons.

Mounties responded to a call of a break and enter at the Premium plant, where a pair of pepperoni enthusiasts removed a large supply of product and headed for the woods in a van full of beef jerky, sausages and pepperoni.

Perhaps they had planned a rendez vous with the Beef Jerkey Bandits, or with a notorious group of cheese swindlers and the ever dangerous Pizza Dough Boys, known for their masterful liberation of pizza dough ingredients.

With the assistance of a plane from the US agency, a pair of teenage latter day finished product cattle rustlers are in custody, leaving the province's supply of fine meat products safe once again.
