Highway 16 reduced to one lane east of Prince George

A land slide east of Prince George has reduced the Northern version of the Trans Canada highway to but one lane for east west travel.

Opinion 250 provided a dramatic picture of the slide area which took place 117 kilometres east of the city and the situation on the highway continues to be monitored for further erosion.

It is in the same area where a slide 15 years ago closed the highway until repairs could be completed.
