As our friends that surf this blog from the USA know, today is probably the most hectic travel day in the various States of the Union. The day before American thanksgiving is traditionally the day where every mode of transportation is filled to capacity, a massive herd of people heading to and fro all in hopes of being home or somewhere else for Thanksgiving.
This year like no other the process is surely one of nightmarish proportions, enhanced security at airports means already long delays become longer, those that choose not to fly instead clog the rail stations, Greyhound stations and the roads as well. Factor in such things as nasty weather and the inevitable highway problems and it's a wonder anyone leaves home. But they do, each and every one of them hoping to be moving, many just standing still.

For those of our neighbours embarking on the great Holiday journey, safe travels, enjoy your Turkey tomorrow.
