Are you ready for some footy!

As the World Cup edges closer and closer, Nike has released what perhaps may be their best advertisement yet.

A three minute feature of fast paced soccer action,  with a plethora of personalities and more than a few surprise endings. It visualizes for us how one moment on the soccer pitch could change destiny for so many.

Nike over the years has provided some of the most innovative concepts in advertising and no doubt has spent countless millions to bring their vision to the screen, but then the return in investment probably makes the massive project quite worthwhile.

For those that only occassionally glance at the screen when soccer comes up on the menu, the latest Nike ad could turn you into a scarf wearing soccer mob fanatic, ready to scream out GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAALLLL at the first opportunity.

The commercial debuts during the Champions League final on Saturday (11:30 am in BC) and will no doubt be seen many times over the next three weeks leading up to the World Cup from South Africa which starts on June 11.

Leaked to YouTube this week, we suspect it will as is hinted in the ad itself become one of the video portals most viewed items of the year.
