And stay off my lawn too!

Ringo has gone all angry old man on the fan base. In a strange little bit of viral video, the one time drummer for The Beatles has outlined his request that the fans move along...

In a video posted on You Tube Ringo Starr has asked his fans to leave him alone, no fan mail, no junk to be signed, no correspondence of any kind. A change of pace from the image he presented on his guest appearance on The Simpson's a few years back, where he answered every piece of mail.

You can't however, begrudge the guy some peace and quiet after almost fifty years of fan mail and probably endless hours of answering the same questions over and over again, it's not surprising that he finally has said enough.

Ringo's cutoff day is October 20, you have until then to fire off your Ringo bobble heads, Beatles Butcher Block covers and assorted programs and handbills for consecration. After that, it all goes in the trash, which no doubt will give growth to a sub industry of garbage dumpster divers, looking for unsigned Ringo merchandise.
