With all the national angst over the break down of negotiations over the theme to Hockey Night in Canada we thought that perhaps a fond remembrance of the ancient jingle was in order.
We scoured the YouTube universe wading through piano recitals and high school bands until we discovered this stirring rendition of the song that can make Don Cherry cry.
Today on the Music Club we feature this marvelous arrangement of the Kanata Symphony Orchestra, who we suspect when they aren't lamenting all the game night traffic on their local streets are busy rehearsing other like minded staples of Canadiana.
