Fathers Day trilogy
Three songs today as Father's Day appears on the Podunkian horizon, our first one comes from Cat Stevens (back when he was known as Cat Stevens) who penned life's lessons from a father to his son.
Cat Stevens--Father and Son
The second selection of the night comes from Madonna, who shocked the music world with her eighties video Papa Don't Preach, which was the most controversial video of the early era of the genre, dealing with teen pregnancy and the relationship between daughter and father.

The Final offering of the night is a moving tribute by Bono of U2 for his father, Kite is the song about the loss of his father after an illness, leaving us with a reminder that life is short and time ticks on as it ever will.

For all the Da's out there, a Happy Fathers Day wherever the wind will take you...
