The Princess and the Podunkian

Oh my, I’m the chosen one!

In a land faraway (now that sounds familiar) dwell a worried princess and her brother (a prince I’m sure) who are seeking my guidance and assistance!

Like a Jedi Knight of the future (or perhaps just an old time boy scout ready to do a good deed ) I can do the right thing simply by clicking the mouse of my computer, with just a few well chosen bank account numbers, I could keep a long time family fortune in the hands of its rightful heirs, protect royalty and do my bit to bring stability to a troubled land.

How can I refuse, it would be so selfish of me to simply hit the delete button.

Alas there’s so much pressure, so much tension, I fear that by my inaction I may only disappoint this desperate damsel, so distraught at her situation that she sought me, a mere Blogger with a yahoo mail address to save her.

What ever could be the odds of her correspondence landing in my humble e mail box?

It’s though the hand of a Force greater than us all, has directed this very fate into my hands.

The Princess, she asks for so little, just a safe harbour for her money and my guardianship of her and her brother, while they continue their education (which hmm, could use a little upgrading, especially that English class, perhaps we’ll move them to another school)

And like many a grand tale for my spirit of goodwill, I shall be handsomely rewarded too!

There is 10 % of the fortune for me and 5 % for any expenses I may come across while administering to the cause (again, we suspect the bulk of which will be used in transfer papers for the school upgrading).

It’s far too much for a humble knight to deserve, but there’s nary a moment to delay, there’s a princess in distress and I must stand ready to serve….

But I wonder, does this make me kind of an Obi Wan Kenobi?

My, How I'm hoping for a happy ending!
