Are you ready for Green Monday?

Ebay, and its creation PayPal are the currency of the digital universe these days, and if the statistics that they have at their fingertips are any indication, tomorrow is going to be a very busy day on the Internet.

The bean counters (and digital byte analysts) at the world's largest shopping market, have determined that the second Monday of December (and the week that follows it) is the largest day of volume buying on the Internet, no doubt spurred on by anxious netizens suddenly realizing that Christmas is but fifteen days away.

Last year, Wednesday, Dec. 13 was the chart-topper with $667 million in sales, as the second week of December set the Internet marketplace on a course to click its way into the black in rather quick order.

It will also no doubt prove to be a money maker for the post office and the numerous courier companies, as anxious shoppers spare no expense to make sure that what is purchased tomorrow arrives under the tree by December 24th...
