You oughta be in pictures!

The Prince George based Opinion 250 site has a bit of Hollywood scuttlebutt for Northwest residents tonight, with word that a locations junket is about to descend on the Terrace, Kitimat and Stewart areas.

At the invitation of the Northern BC Film Commissioner Karen Cameron, six Vancouver based producers and location managers will travel the Highway 16 and 37 corridors looking at scenery and visualizing how the vista may fit into some big budget movie of the future.

There have already been a number of feature films using Northwest settings as a backdrop, the film commissioner is hoping that next weeks trip will bring even more Northwest visuals to the big screen.

No side trips are planned for the Prince Rupert area, so for the short term it would seem that lights, camera and action won't be ringing out around our town any time soon.
