It was only a couple of days ago that we were bemoaning the fact that for whatever reason, Prince Rupert was missing out on lower gas prices that had been posted across Northern B. C.
That changed yesterday as the 7-11 Esso outlet dropped it's price to 1.12, followed by the remaining stations by Wednesday morning, that is still four cents higher than many of the other retail outlets in Northern B. C. and especially when compared to the discount gas bars like the Terrace Safeway outlet.
Four cents is a start, but it still would be interesting if we could be given a reasonable explanation as to why we still pay more than our neighbours a mere ninety minutes down the road.
