Apple adds some extras with the new iPods

Apple Computers has shipped out some new iPods, the video variety, complete with everything that the portable entertainment officiando might want and something that he or she would rather take a pass on. A virus that provides for a severe slowdown and lock up. The RavMonE virus is the nasty bug implanted and ready to wreak havoc on unsuspecting iPods.

Of course Apple being apple, only iPods working with computers using the Windows system will be infected. Like those snappy tv commercials airing showing the young peppy Mac and the old stodgy PC, the apple stand alones carry on without a hitch.

Apple apologized to a fashion, isuing a mea culp that the Register, a computer website described as, not normally seen by the "secretive, paranoid company".

Apples act of contrition went as such:

"As you might imagine, we are upset at Windows for not being more hardy against such viruses, and even more upset with ourselves for not catching it."

To keep Apple entertained, the Register provided one poor users complaints about the issue.
