MARCH 1- Let's all go to the Dairy Queen!
We begin the month of March with an oldie but a goodie, the ever anticipated return of Dairy Queen to our fair burg. Bringing with it one hopes the ever popular Brazier Burgers! From the message boards of the hackingthemainframe site, this one floats to the top of the glass every once and awhile, so it's no surprise it's back. No definitive word on a location or a time frame, just a drizzle of hopeful sauce over your rumour sundae for a Wednesday. It follows hot on the heels of the Quizno's ads in the local paper last week, making Podunk one happening place in the world of fast food!
MARCH 15 - Ridley a Go Go
Been quiet on the rumour mill of late, but today two old favourites popped up on the radar screen. The first is that wonderful nearly completed project known as the sulphur plant is apparently back on track to development, which would finally make good use of that lengthy trackage of piping leading to nowhere at the moment.
The other one is a suggestion that the wood pellet operation for Ridley is also back on the drawing board, giving a bit more industrial heft to the Ridley Island operations.
