A new season and a new on line look for Prince Rupert's Rampage

The Prince Rupert Rampage hit the ice next week for their first pre season games of the year, as Prince Rupert's entry in the CIHL prepares for what it hopes will be the breakthrough year for the franchise that moves them to the upper levels of the league standings.

Local followers of the Rampage can keep track of their team away from the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre with the re-launch of the teams website, which now features a variety of on line content that should keep Rampage fans clicking long after the end of the game.

The site provides Rampage fans with details on the team roster, loads of photos and the promise of game highlight packages once the season is underway. Pretty well anything that you may want to know about your Rampage team can be found on the impressive pages of the team's website.

For old time Rupert hockey fans the website even has a look back at the days of the Prince Rupert Kings, a timeless period of hockey lore that still seems to resonate in the community to this day.

It would seem that revamping the website and adding as much as they have must have been a rather time consuming project for the website's creator Phil Cornwall, however,  if the on ice results prove to be the same as their on line production, this could very well be the local team's best year yet.

You can view the Rampage website here.
