Lily Munster passes away

Yvonne De Carlo, the Canadian born actress (Peggy Yvonne Middleton) of Munsters fame has passed away at tha age of 84.

From the role of devoted wife to Charlton Heston's Moses, to numerous movies of the forties and fifties, she was considered one of the last of the Great Movie Studio Queens.

She was multi-talented in both acting and singing, appeared in many movies, numerous broadway productions and in a number of television roles.

While she achieved many accolades over the years, she'll probably be best remembered for her role as the solid Vampire Mama Lily of the ghoulish Munster clan, a two year ride that made Monsters cool and De Carlo hot once again.
