Honey! Did you let the cat in?

A family found themselves host to an unwanted house guest in the Indian city of Vadodara.

Dhiren Sukhadia awoke in the morning to discover a leopard prowling the family compound, after a few anxious moments the cat wandered towards the family bathroom, which is when the Sudkhadia's decided he should spend some quality time in the can.

They promptly phoned the local Fire/Rescue squad (note to Herb Pond, may wish to beef up the local contingent for just such an emergency) which arrived to take stock of the situation. By now the village had taken an interest in the commotion and began to congregate around the house, which of course only caused aggravation to the now caged cat.

Police used batons to beat back the crowd, forestry officials used tranquilizers to take care of the cat. Perhaps they left some behind for the family, who no doubt might be in need of them.
