I'm sure we'll find people who will want to buy a 108-inch TV

Yes, it sure beats the 36 inch sitting in the basement here, but somehow I don't see me swaying the Missus on the joys of larger than life television.

Sharp, not to be outdone in the world of BIG BIG SCREEN TV, has introduced the largest screen on the market thus far, at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Sharp introduced it's 108 inch giant, for those that not only want to watch the action but perhaps feel as though they are part of it.

For now it will be the champion of the big screen offerings, trumping the previous giant screen of the Panasonic 103-inch plasma TV which retails for US$70,000. Sharp has yet to set a price for it's 108 screen monster, set to be available this summer, but they're pretty confident that there will be a market for the LCD screen.

At 108 inches, you might be placing it outside the house, selling tickets, setting up a concession stand in the garage and calling yourself a Drive in...
