You can be the writer, editor, publisher and critic all in the same afternoon!

They say there's at least one good novel in all of us, and here's your chance to get yours out of the way.

Penguin books is getting back at all those bothersome authors that ever questioned their authority, as the British Publisher gets ready to join in with a University to offer up the world’s first Wiki book.

With the working title of “A Million Penguins” would be authors will be allowed to log on and work on the plot and characters at will, in what can surely only be an anarchistic attempt at novel writing.

Not only will the world be able to muck about with the direction of the novel, but they will be free to edit and change the work of those that have arrived before them. A situation that will surely lead to more than a few testy comments flashing through the wired world as battered egos find their hard thought out prose disposed of with the flick of a wiki mouse.

No individual writer will be given credit as the communal group works towards a finished product, though one must wonder how that blessed event may ever come to pass. With a project such as this and the world pool of potential writers to jump into the fray, the concept of writers block will probably never come to pass on the project.
