Ah, yes we can see it now, shopping for lawn furniture, sporting goods, gardening supplies all without the need of driving an hour and a half down the road.
The intrepid sleuths at hackingthemainframe have uncovered part of the mystery of the B C Hydro site development on Highway 16. Well ok, all they did was check out the Royop website a bit more often than I did, but hey credit where credit is due, they scooped the old Podunkian here.
At any rate, click on the Royop site and you can see the building plans for the development and right there on the right hand side, something called the Canadian Tire property line (proposed), 203,592 sq ft of shopping bliss for frustrated Podunkian shoppers!
Included in the Royp profile is a little blurb about our little town and its "forecast for high growth".
